your art reminds me of masume shirow it not exacting the same. I have a feeling that your art will just as great as his in a couples of years as his comic books appleseed and ghost in a shell.

This guy is cool but I'm not sure about the extra set of legs. The front set look pretty powerful and seem like they could take the full weight of the mech. The second set don't seem that necessary unless there was some seriously huge cannon or something up top. It just looks a bit unballanced.

Technically it is still a great piece of work, keep it up.

Well, I think it looks more like a falcon mech. Or just an unidentified beast...it really doesn't matter. And what great design, especially in the legs.. Coming up with original mecha designs seems like so much fun, except when I actually try it, my concept of shape fails me. Awesome!

doing mechs aint that complicated. sometimes you need the "feel" to create one. try starting out with shape or style that youre familiar with. :)
